PURPOSE: The Bonita Springs Fire Control & Rescue District is seeking bids from qualified bidders, from now on referred to as the Proposer, to provide janitorial services for the District’s approximately 14,500 square foot administrative offices, located at 27701 Bonita Grande Drive, Bonita Springs, FL 34135, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request for Proposal.
BACKGROUND: Preference will be given to otherwise substantively equal proposals whose business is located within the boundaries of the Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District. The effective date of the proposed contract will be June 6, 2023. The term of any agreement with the most qualified proposer will be until September 30, 2025, with annual renewal provisions for up to six years on mutually acceptable terms. Should the proposer not perform the services described in this RFP to the satisfaction of the District, the proposer will be given 30 days written notice to rectify issues detailed in any complaint(s) before cancellation of the contract.
A pre-proposal site visit will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Prospective proposers will meet Facilities Coordinator Mike Burkard at Station 4, the District’s administrative headquarters, in the main lobby located at 27701 Bonita Grande Drive, Bonita Springs, FL 34135. The meeting will be an opportunity to see the area to be serviced in this RFP and to clarify the District’s expectations pertaining to the scope of work described in the RFP.
