ISO Rating 2!
Updated On: Jan 20, 2022

ISO partners with municipal fire authorities, city managers, and other community officials to evaluate local fire-protection resources for more than 46,000 areas. They assess a community’s fire-suppression system, including communications, fire departments, and water supply. Communities rely on ISO’s information to plan for, budget, and justify improvements in fire protection and communications infrastructure. ISO's Public Protection Classification Program (PPC) plays an important role in the underwriting process at insurance companies. In fact, most U.S.. insurers -including the largest companies- use PPC information as part of their decisionmaking when deciding what business to write, coverage's to offer, or prices to charge for personal or commercial property insurance.
