Time & Day:  2nd Wednesday of each month at 5:00 pm

 

Strength through united action, guided by intelligence, is the hallmark of a trade union organization.  Believing such unity essential for the mutual protection and advancement of the interests and general welfare of firefighters within the boundaries of Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District, Florida, the objects of this Local shall be:  to organize all firefighters; to secure just compensation for their services and equitable settlement of their grievances; to promote the establishment of just and reasonable working conditions; to place the members of the Local on a higher plane of skill and efficiency; to promote harmonious relations between firefighters and their employers; to encourage all firefighters in this jurisdiction to become active members of this Local; to encourage the establishment of schools of instruction for imparting knowledge of modern and improved methods of fire

                                          fighting and prevention; and to cultivate friendship and fellowship among its members.
