THE FOURTH OF JULY PARADE IS ORGANIZED BY BONITA SPRINGS' PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS LOCAL 3444.
This year's theme was selected by Bonita Springs Elementary School students. Mr. Diederich's Third Grade class decided the 2011's parade theme is "Honoring Our Community Service People". "My class thought it would be an outstanding opportunity to honor and celebrate all those who make this community and our country great!" said Mr. Diederich.
They recognized Teachers, Military, Firemen, Waste Management, Community Volunteers, Police, Doctors, Nurses, Government Employees, and School Employees as community service people.
