Bonita Springs Fire-Rescue Station Five is being built to replace a temporary construction-type

trailer that has housed firefighters for the past six years. The station will consist of a total of

8,688 square feet, which includes the apparatus bay, maintenance area and living area. The

station will be designed on the basis of our current Station Two, located at 28055 Mango Drive,

by architect Gora McGahey. The station will be built by Bora, Craig, Barber, Engle, based in

Naples. The cost of the station is $1,087,998, a savings of $367,637 over Station Two, which

was a total of 6,941 square feet. The estimated completion date of construction is early 2010.
