ACTIVITY #5-DRESSED FOR WORK
If you were going to fly to the moon, what would you wear to keep yourself safe on your journey? What if you were going to find a sunken treasure at the bottom of the ocean, what would you wear to help you stay underwater? What if you were going into a burning building, what would you wear to stay safe from the flames and smoke?
Firefighters have special clothing. even though firefighters look different with all their gear on, they are just regular people whose clothes and equipment allow them to do their jobs well: put out fires, help rescue people from fires, assist in car accidents and other emergencies where people require medical help. If you see a firefighter dresses to work, you can feel safe going to them for help. Helping you is a firefighter's job!
Draw yourself in a firefighters special gear. Make sure to include: |

a hood to protect your ears and neck, |
